Last year, US lawmakers argued that a social media platform owned by someone close to an autocratic leader can be used as propaganda.

They were talking about TikTok.

For Canada, these concerns apply equally to the app formerly known as Twitter.

“That’s why it’s time to ban Twitter/X in Canada.”

Have you heard? Paris has limited vehicle through-traffic from parts of its historic city centre, so they could reallocate that space for cars for people, cut pollution and congestion, and improve quality-of-life.

That’s leadership. That’s common sense. #Paris

Paris says 'non' to through-traffic in city center
Other European cities have taken similar measures, but the Paris mayor's office said its own traffic limitation scheme was 'one of the most ambitious' on the continent.

Turns out today is ANOTHER good day for Pierre Poilievre to prove to Canadians that he’s actually capable of passing the standard & normal security check, & get the security clearance that he’s refused to get.

Until he does, I’m continuing to assume that it’s because he knows that he can’t pass it.
WATCH: The gloves are off! It’s been an under-reported scandal for quite a while that Pierre Poilievre refuses to apply for security clearance. It was a scandal EVEN BEFORE the most recent efforts to undermine Canada’s democracy, sovereignty and economy from Trump, Musk and the GOP.

In a shocking turn of events, many of the people who said they wanted "free speech" actually just wanted to be the ones in charge of which speech is free.
UPDATE—Mahmoud's attorney says they do NOT know where he is.
They were first told he was sent to an ICE facility in Elizabeth, NJ. But when his 8-month-pregnant wife tried to visit him, she was told he's not there.
They've received reports he may be sent as far away as Louisiana.

Big damage on international trade for the USA.

The message has been sent that any agreement the USA has signed may only last until the next election cycle.

This creates business instability in all nations involved, including the USA.

I hate how politics has shifted from voters questioning politicians about real issues to politicians pushing their own fabricated problems. In successful parties today, it’s no longer about answering to the people—it’s about controlling the narrative.

Trump continues to refer to Canada’s Prime Minister as “Governor.”

That’s insulting, disrespectful and unprofessional. And frankly just childish and stupid.

In my own childish moment, I considered referring to Trump by some similarly incorrect title.

But we should be accurate about Felon Trump.

Looks like he needs to revisit those schools to learn how to use a slash. It's so embarrassing to see such a post from the literal president of a country, especially when you consider how someone from 30 years ago would have reacted. Should've at least finished it w/ "Sorry for bad English" (and /s)
