Best summary of the current situation with UK water companies that I’ve read
So, have I got this right, the water regulator is allowing the water firms to massively hike our water bills to fix the problems the water regulator was paid to make sure the water firms did not cause?

They are laughing at us.

👏🤣
Ben Folds and Jeremy Irons should get together and start a dry cleaning business.

They could call it Ben and Jerry's.

And she has aspirations (delusions?) to run the country one day? How has this become allowable / normalised? Is no one holding her to account, even within her own party?
Kemi Badenoch at #PMQs: "We had a budget in March this year and tractors were not blockading the streets of Whitehall afterwards."

Here are the tractors blockading the streets of Whitehall in March this year. They were protesting - you really couldn't make this up - Badenoch's trade policies. 😂

I just learned that Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. An alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform (and yes it's really easy to transfer your lists from Goodreads to StoryGraph). You know, while we're moving things.

1. UK-EU Youth mobility agreements sound a great idea but I think they are a bit of a bear trap for remainers.

Why?

Huge fan of the simple answer as supplied by @angrystaffer.bsky.social 👏👏👏
What kind of convoluted, pretzel-brain bullshit is this?

If the US was invading Mexico, I would fully expect Mexico to use any weapons they had at their disposal.

If Russia doesn’t want to be bombed, the simple answer is to get the fuck out of Ukraine.

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up.

If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

Neither do you.
