Because of Halloween, Minecraft's got this enderman running around the launcher. I'd pulled it up and left the room then came back for something, forgetting it was up doing its thing. I heard the enderman chirp and my fight or flight response kicked in for a split second... lol

Funny finding out which of the games in your Steam library are Unity games based on the updates being pushed out over the security patch. Even some old games getting updated (great support!). :)

Really want to encourage libraries - especially school libraries - to put no-AI content into your collection development policy. At the very least, if you have a clause in there about requiring accurate information, you can use that to weed out or prevent genAI purchases.

I dunno about the EA news. Running a public company gives you some accountability but ultimately you're at the whim of shareholders that are gambling with your shares and just want profits regardless of your business model and what's right for your business long term. But private equity is worse.

I feel like this isn't getting enough play. Sick to death of companies trying to succeed by limiting creativity especially over an idea that isn't exactly original to them. Pokemon had an early run but then who cares? It's been DECADES since the original.
