THANK YOU! THIS!
the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

It's more than a little disconcerting that invading another country to steal its resources is now less controversial and more acceptable to my government and much of this country than me using the bathroom

this is true and I am sorry about your mentions.
Democrat leaders on this platform want you to believe they are the party of resistance while supporting genocide, rubber stamping Trump's nominees, folding on trans rights, using far-right rhetoric about migrants, working with mass surveillance companies, getting mad they weren't in on a coup.

A Tent Big Enough for Bigots but Too Small for Critical Race Theory
Like so many of critical race theory's detractors, Matthew Yglesias fails to engage with the actual scholarship.

The story is that Trump knew what Epstein and Maxwell were doing for decades and still sides with Maxwell.

The natural next question is: Why didn't you do anything to help these girls?

And the regime knows it's the same answer to why he won't do anything to help the survivors now.

Anyhoo,

Libertarianism is

a beguilingly coherent philosophy

for a certain demographic, but which

unfortunately for them,

collapses on impact with the real world it makes so many false assumptions about.

At which point they often just choose the far right

its funny to see "heritage Americans" posting about how their great great great grandpa was in the continental army or whatever after reading page after page of Washington quotes where he's like "My soldiers Stink Most Pissibly; verily They are Drunken Roaches, Whom I Despise"

I’m not racist, but I’m super offended at having this bullshit racist concept of “heritage American” called what it is.
I’m a heritage or legacy American based on my family history which I have no control over and I’m a Democrat. You seem to imply we are all republicans or racist which is not true.

It’s worth remembering that conditions in Haiti are very much the fault of European colonizers, including Americans. When the enslaved over through their enslavers, enslavers became terrified. They refused to recognize it as a country for decades.
In #Haiti, escalating violence and displacement are pushing millions deeper into hunger and insecurity.

The UN Global Emergency Fund CERF allocation will support urgent, life-saving assistance in one of the world’s most underfunded crises.

It's a weird world when dutifully regurgitating a bunch of carefully curated information that the world's richest man gave you is "fearless journalism," but reporting on how the government is kidnapping innocent people and sending them overseas to be tortured is "not moving the ball forward."

I took math courses in Barus and Holley 35 years ago, and just recently I mentioned how common it was to pull fire alarms there during finals week. Today (also during finals week) someone shot and killed 2 people and wounded 8, in the first mass shooting at Brown in its 261 years. My heart breaks.

If my Congolese in-laws weren’t already citizens, they’d be prevented by the masked thugs currently stinking up my country. Soon there could be American refugees crowding into camps to escape the Wheich.

BREAKING: In a shadow docket 6-3 ruling, SCOTUS reinstates Texas' racist gerrymandered maps that disenfranchise Black & brown people.

But if you think this is new, a reminder—with receipts—that SCOTUS has ALWAYS upheld white supremacy in America.

Receipts show the current Court's right wing extremist rulings are not aberrations, but manifestations of SCOTUS history—and that must change

One of the biggest reasons the smart kids in school never find the meritocracy they believe in, where they rise to the top: whatever’s the opposite of charisma, most of them have it.
Turns out charisma goes a long way in politics!
