The 2 grants amounting to $60M were for a grantmaker program where $48M would be re-granted to hundreds of community-based orgs in NY, NJ, PR, & Virgin Islands. I have spent a lot of my career talking to service providers about data security and am personally devastated by the lack of infrastructure and training for data management in social services. It’s something that really needs investment immediately.
