I remember when a protester punched the co-leader of the Greens in the face.

Hana Maipi-Clarke had her home broken into by a political stalker.

I recall VFF protesting outside Clarke's parents' home while Jacinda was on holiday.

I dont remember hearing about National's concerns back then??

Calling people attack dogs is not at attempt to deescalate and maintain civility, it's a attempt to escalate to distract from a failing economy. www.rnz.co.nz/news/politic...

Look at this amazing piece lacey made of my boyfriend’s cat!!
go commission her, she’s rad and so is her work!
A colourful drawing of a black-and-white tuxedo cat in four different poses: sprawled out on her side, on her back with her feet in the air playfully, lounging like a sphinx looking up, and snuggling up against the warm embrace of a gaming keyboard (that was probably actively in use)

In Nineteen Eighty Four all art for the "proles" is created without human intervention at all because they just feed a set number of scenarios and words into fiction machines and songwriting machines, which then create them and disperse them widely to keep the proles happy and FOR FUCK'S SAKE ORWELL

Concerns are being raised about privatisation after Health Minister Simeon Brown met representatives of a controversial multinational company that runs prisons and hospitals.

“The Minister must immediately & fully disclose the nature, purpose, & content of his discussions with Serco.”

Yeah that’s not true! He said, in an interview with Plunket
“… in terms of gender identity, I think people define their gender identity for themselves.”
And got lambasted for it.
The ‘adult human female’ bill is New Zealand First’s baby and strongly OPPOSED by Labour.
The PM was asked to define a woman. Here's his 60-second response
The Prime Minister appeared unprepared for the question.

"[Seymour's] stances won him support from the far-right, who, while not necessarily ideologically aligned with the libertarian ACT Party on all issues, believed Seymour would protect their right to incite violence against Muslims while owning assault rifles"

After years of making space for it, David Seymour now apparently opposes political violence
The Deputy Prime Minister has a history of looking the other way, until now

The flags were lowered last night around the base by order of President Trump after the killing of Charlie Kirk and will stay at half-staff on this U.S. outpost in southeast Cuba until sunset on Sunday.

First day back at The Spinoff but the damn mayor is stealing all my story ideas
Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown is having none of it, telling the Star-Times that the “desperate deputy prime minister” shouldn’t “stick his nose in it”.

“So they want to build out in Pukekohe so they can get re-elected in Epsom? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, doesn’t it?” says Brown. The wealthy peninsula suburb has a large number of historic villas and has largely resisted intensification.

“We want the Devonport ferry to be marked up as a mainline transit so we can concentration of building design as you do in other high speed transit.”

“You’re not going to be building high rises in Devonport, are you? This is going to upset everyone,” Brewer challenged Brown.

“Yeah, but they deserve to be upset,” Brown responded.
