NO HE IS NOT...
Danish Parliament Deputy Speaker Lars-Christian Brask:

"If I could come with some advice, it would be for the Senate & House to start to take control of political power in America because with this erratic & mad behaviour, you have to ask the question, is the President capable of running the US?"

Never in my most cynical dreams did I imagine so many people willing to sell out their own country for money, attention, clout, out of spite, ignorance or hate.

That will remain the most heartbreaking part of this ordeal.

America is such a beautiful idea.

We are becoming unworthy of it.

Happy MLK Day. In commemoration, here’s the story of how the NYT Magazine assigned Martin Luther King to write “Letter From Birmingham Jail” and then blew its chance to publish it through the sort of pompous editorial dithering every freelancer knows all too well.

Except there won't be free elections...so what else can we do?
Never forget that billionaires spend billions to convince you that voting doesn't matter. Don't help them. Voting isn't the ONLY thing we can do, but it is the most powerful check on the executive. "Don't bother voting because there'll be no free elections" is oligarch propaganda.

Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

In 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. believed that America was spiritually sick, and that nothing could save it except a “radical revolution of values.”

Modern America, William J. Barber II argued in 2018, faces a similar crisis:
America’s Moral Malady
The nation’s problem isn’t that we don’t have enough money. It’s that we don’t have the moral capacity to face what ails society.

Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life to advocating tirelessly for the justice and equality of Black Americans and resisting elected leaders’ deliberate abuse and neglect of our communities. He was relentlessly targeted by our government for his views and pursuit of equality.
