Hey if you follow me you might like weird niche corners of the internet. Well in that case you watch this video I helped work on behind the scenes. It’s about a weird niche corner of the internet — the Velma fandom. Also follow the channel cuz I’ll be working on other videos with them.
“damp” feels appropriate for, like, tres leches and other soaked cakes but is not synonymous in the right way to replace “moist”
I worked with a dude who was so opposed to the word "moist" that he wouldn't even use it in regard to cake. When I asked how he'd describe a cake then, he said he generally avoids describing it in those terms, but if he has to, he'd say it was "damp," which sounds so much worse to me.
