There are SO many conditions that can affect our ability to speak and make it harder - from conditions like TMJD which make moving the mouth painful, to strokes, to fatigue, to neurodivergence. But often what we need is similar: people to give us time to find our words - and listen to them.

apparently being opposed to labour putting employment naggers in gp offices and at the heart of mental health services means im 'writing ppl off'.

i can't stand this nonsense. it makes me so angry.

this government is not trying to help disabled ppl. it is saying 'work or die'.

All of this!!! Just a bit of admitting I was unwell and taking time to recover could have prevented this deep deep autistic burn out! Even after 4 years I still don't have the energy or executive function I used to have and I really don't think I will ever have it again!

When politicians like Trump, or Starmer, say & do transphobic things, parents talk about it in front of kids & then the kids bring it to school.

It’s horrific that these kids are being taught to hate & at such an early age.

Just a thought, but maybe spend some of that money on more health professionals? so people can actually access help, and treatment?!

Also, a good health professional knows when to counsel you *not* to work. Because sometimes you need that time to get well.

How is this repeatedly made into a policy issue - by *all* parties - when the blunt fact of the matter is that grown adults who are obliged to pay for their own education, and relentlessly pursued to repay their loans, should be able to study whatever the fuck they want.
