Honestly, this half-hearted apology doesn't come close to being enough. I'd say fire him, but it is likely Fox will hire someone more heinous to replace him. Talk to your friends,family, and coworkers why euthanization of the homeless is completely unacceptable.
He apologized. Good. He didn't elide the horror of what he said. Also good.
Still, we need to talk about why what he said was so awful, why three days passed before it was called out, and how it echoes tragedies and tyrannies of the past—lest we repeat them.
