JAMA study published today found that physician participation in Medicare increased by over 6% between 2013 and 2023. Many physicians, NPs,PAs and RNs took early retirement after the COVID pandemic hit in 2020. Your statement re mass “abandonment” by physicians starting in 2010 is ridiculous.
