It’s impossible not to be concerned about what’s happening in the U.S. right now, involving ICE and how people are being affected.
Tomorrow I’ll continue posting about the NFL games, but staying aware that real life goes far beyond the sport.

It’s impossible not to be concerned about what’s happening in the U.S. right now, involving ICE and how people are being affected.

U.S. tech companies will hit the wall soon. As it is now Europe has no other choice than to break free from them. That the White House sit on a kill switch for everything related to U.S. tech means that they can stop us dead in our tracks. That is of course not possible to accept.

People should know that the majority of feds are sickened entirely by what they see in the news. Virtually none are in a position to meaningfully stop the worst of what we're seeing. You do not want the people this admin would love to replace them with. People go in to continue to do good work.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

One of the things I was most worried about with that scotus immunity decision was that maybe down the line scotus finds a state killing wasn’t immune, you can’t bring a person back from the dead. You can’t change history

But to see them (again) smearing someone who was out protesting in support of his community & neighbors, a registered nurse who lawfully owned a gun (that he looks to have been disarmed of before they shot him!) still makes me ill.
