It would cost the country

for the next transpo authorization bill to take discretion away from USDOT to grant permission to pursue cordon pricing.

It’s been proven here, let our cities cook.
Important, exciting research — air pollution dropped 22% in NYC's congestion relief zone within the first 6 months of #CongestionPricing (with reductions in the surrounding neighborhoods, too)

Cleaner air, better transit, great data — all thanks to #CongestionPricing!

America: where road safety is so motorist-centered that small cars are too dangerous to allow on the market!
Unlike Europe and Asia, NHTSA & Congress have failed to create a regulatory category for minicars. Because they flunk US safety rules for full-sized cars, they’re effectively illegal to sell.

Only “collectable” minicars cars 25+ years old can be legally sold (and they’re quite popular).
What Do US Vehicle Regulators Have Against Tiny Cars?
Super-small urban vehicles have found a place in European and Asian cities. But in the US, federal and state rulemakers seem determined to keep minicars at bay.

I’m not sure what makes me happier — football visualized via clustering analysis or the fact that Michigan is in the middle of the playoff cluster.
Bad data science time.

I threw 80+ stats into a kmeans clustering algorithm and asked for 4 groups of college football teams. I then circled the teams in the current playoffs.

Find your team, and let me know how you feel about the teams around them.

Exactly this. Most people think of media bias as "taking sides," whereas the most concerning form of bias is fitting existing narrative structures. In this case, re-presenting Trump as coherent and the GOP platform as a serious governing agenda, because elections must be contests between equals.
