Just watched the Labor and Coalition launch speeches. The PM is streets ahead in delivery as well as better speech writers. Good heavens Mr Dutton is ordinary.

Fact:
If Dutton gets his way with nuclear, those with rooftop solar power panels will find utility companies will shut down your solar power to favour expensive, risky, inflexible nuclear power.

Say NO to LNP.

LNP NEVER AGAIN.

Only two nations are in budget surplus, have triple A credit ratings and have reduced debt to GDP two years running: Australia and Denmark. Interesting that Australia's mainstream news media (incl. the ABC) doesn't report this news. 🤔 #auspol #journalism

lol - congrats to the News Corp journo who secured an interview with the boss of News Corp so that he could deny they were working to elect Dutton

The Liberal Party is no longer a 'broad church' 'sensible centre' or even a conservative party. It's an angry men's club, serving its fossil fuels industry donors. Dutton's as ignorant as a racist One Nation candidate but bc he's OL, he's given credibility & media air time he doesn't deserve #auspol

Is what Peter Dutton saying true? If not, that's the story. #auspol

Every time I have the audacity to talk about how nuclear is a batshit crazy idea for Australia on socials, I get a pile on from condescending nukebros tripping over themselves to mansplain and YouTube clips me to death. 💀

I wonder if BlueSky will be the same? 🤔

Excl the pandemic, the last time Australia's economy grew slower than 0.8% was.... during the 1990s recession.

If you still that is a sign of excess demand then it might be time to stop pretending you are an economist and admit you really are just a ghoul who wants more people unemployed.

Perfect example of media inequality - as per my recent book. Industrial unrest is blamed on workers. Meanwhile, management is not called on to explain why they’ve not negotiated with workers in good faith. This is structural media bias - unions and workers always framed as villains, employer as hero
This unwanted editorial intro on the story about the Woolworths strike on Channel Costello is utter bullshite! It’s not the workers’ fault Woolworths has lost 50 mil, it’s the company that caused it. You reap what you sow, d1ckheads! #auspol

Regretfully, I can only agree. You’d expect this vengeful, punitive cruelty from the LNP. From a Labor government it’s a disgraceful abomination, an abandonment of decency and humanity.
Authorised by me on behalf of the ASRC. It’s the ugly truth as of today after the Albanese Government betrayed multicultural communities overnight. A profoundly shameful display lacking in leadership from a party elected on a promise to be more fairer & compassionate on migration.

The Fed Gov is doing a bit not so good but Chris Bowen in his portfolio is doing a lot right. Along with this article and the recent announcement of Vehicle to home/grid he is making good policy in the transformation of the energy sector. Thank goodness
Not fit for purpose: Australia energy market rules to be rewritten to keep pace with renewables
Bowen announces expert panel led by Tim Nelson to set roadmap for complete rethink of electricity market. Will it be top down for utilities, or bottom up for consumers?
