A note to everyone who will be out on Saturday.

If you are wearing totally plain white underclothes, sometimes you keep them thru lock-up. Plain white t-shirt, underwear, socks. For breasts, a sports bra w/o underwire.

Be safe, stay hydrated, and pay no attention to the agitators. I love you

So is the US going to actually put its collective foot down, or are we just going to watch one of the horrific parts of history repeat itself? I cannot believe we are here, and yet no one with any crumb of power seems to be doing anything of consequence about it...

Insanity: The deportation flights Trump used military jets for—that Mexico refused to accept—cost the U.S. up to $852,000 per flight to attempt to deport just 80 migrants at a time.

To compare, flights directly chartered by Immigration and Customs Enforcement cost just $8,577.

This is not some disgruntled ex-employee speaking off the record.

This is David Maraniss, a Pulitzer-winning reporter and author who’s now an associate editor at the Washington Post, where he’s been affiliated for more than 40 years.
The Washington Post editorial this morning essentially equating Biden's questionable pardons with Trump's outrageous Jan. 6 pardons was unconscionable. The newspaper I've been part of for 48 years has utterly lost its soul.

Donald Trump’s first day back in office culminated in a sea of executive orders—a zone once again flooded with shit. Some of those orders were ceremonial (“promoting beautiful federal civic architecture”); others were PR stunts more fitting for his reality show

Donald Trump Takes a Sharpie to Democracy
By issuing a blitz of executive orders, including ones ending birthright citizenship and pardoning January 6 rioters, the 47th president is already undermining the rule of law.

A tale of Elon and his apologists:

Elon lets Nazis back on his platform - "he's defending free speech"

He regularly amplifies supremacist ideologies, memes and conspiracy theories - "he's doing it for engagement"

He does the Nazi salute (twice) - "he has autism-ish"

Elon is a Nazi.

The End.

Absolutely a travesty of justice and a slap in the face to law enforcement who suffered violence.
President Trump has pardoned 1,500 people who stormed the Capitol four years ago to block his successor from taking office, including 174 charged with using weapons or assaulting police and conspirators who plotted "to oppose by force the lawful transfer of presidential power."
