Andrew Tate being allowed to come to the U.S. and avoid facing trial for sex trafficking in Romania is beyond stomach-churning. This man is a HUGE influencer and uses his platform/following to further abuse women who have accused him. Now he won’t face justice, reaffirming his lies to his followers

Trump and Musk claim they’re saving billions through DOGE’s mass purge of federal bureaucracy. Instead, the administration has spent $710 billion in its first month, nearly a billion more than Joe Biden.
Turns Out, Trump and DOGE Haven’t Actually Saved Any Money
Government spending has continued.

If you wondered if we have a cabal of self-interested (primarily white male) individuals who want to destroy the government so they can privatize and reap the benefits... well, you don't need to wonder anymore.
So Musk is firing FAA employees and planning to replace them with SpaceX employees.

When is TOO MUCH, TOO MUCH.
We need to stop this before it's at the point of no return

Get your shoulder into it.
"You can't disassociate. There's no disassociation allowed... It's the long fucking run with these people. You gotta stick in there."

Greed, cruelty and hardness of heart on blatant display at the expense of 2 million impoverished, displaced humans that billionaires consider disposable. Hail the mighty dollar, the true King.

We can do better than this.

Something to consider.
In its simplest terms, the apparent demise of #USAID is the result of the world's richest man ending a program that helps millions of poor people. You don't need a Ph.D. in moral theology to see why this is an evil. You can just read Jesus's parables on the rich and the poor.

Did you read the one about the research that said we age the most at 44 and 60? Turns out, it's not all that accurate.

Weather prediction: Cooling system moving into Cognitive Dissonance today that we expect will dump 12" polarization across the region. Meanwhile, watch for the flooding likely in the area of Dismissing Contradictions and Rationalizing Stupidity. Get your umbrellas folks, we're in for a long one.
Trump in August: "From the day I take the oath of office, we’ll rapidly drive prices down, and make America affordable again. Prices will come down. You just watch. They’ll come down and they’ll come down fast."

Trump now: “It's hard to bring things down once they're up. You know, it's very hard."

Our modern day "Let them eat cake" is something more like, "Put it on an award winning show, sit them in front of the screen, and they'll quiet down."
Nothing like a dead body to make front pages alive and talking about the outrageous practices of the American "healthcare" system...

Love it or hate it, the shifts in times and our collective consciousness shows itself in so many ways.
A growing group of people with loving families are choosing to spend Christmas solo.

“We have stopped asking ourselves what we want in order to give everything to other people,” Brian Brister said. “Sometimes, it is totally okay to say, ‘What is best for me in this moment?’ And do that.”
They love their family. They just want to spend Christmas alone.
“I am honestly just so excited to spend Christmas by myself,” said Shannon Rosa, a nurse who is seeking solitude this holiday season.

Stories are more powerful than facts. Stories form what we believe to be true, not what actually is true. You can lose your home, health, spouse, child, and job and still survive. But if you lose your belief, all collapses.

The stories we tell are the most important thing we have as a people.
