Comey: "I'm grateful the court ended the case against me, which was a prosecution based on malevolence & incompetence... I was inspired by the career people who refused to be part of this travesty. It cost some of them their jobs, but it preserved their integrity, which is beyond price"

If the President doesn’t want to be called a Russian asset, perhaps he should stop acting like a Russian asset.

Mr. Secretary, you seem confused. Mark Kelly was defending the Constitution. That’s leadership and you should try it.

This is an insurrection…

Of course Putin isn’t serious about peace.
He has trump eating out of his hands and swallowing every lie.
Until trump puts pressure on Putin nothing will change.
It’s a sad state of affairs when if the US president just shut up and stayed out of this things would be better.
Zelensky says Russia’s massive strike amid peace talks shows Moscow isn’t serious about ending the war. While the U.S., Europe, and others are working on a real path to peace, Russia keeps prioritizing aggression. “We must not forget the reality. We must counter Russian strikes 24/7,” he said.

And if our current leaders won’t do it, they need to step aside for people who will.

The BBC is reporting details from Shumeet Banerji's resignation letter from the BBC Board.

Pretty obvious implication is that Samir Shah has been running the board incompetently, and not defending executives against Robbie Gibb and chums.

Putin has to have something on trump.
Even though trump has no grasp of world affairs or how to negotiate, the positions he takes (so pro Russia and against democracy) are such that Putin has to be pulling his strings.
Translation: even trump isn’t stupid enough to believe what he’s saying

When a sitting president calls for death to lawmakers, it’s not a warning sign, it’s the emergency siren. He is talking like a dictator and telling you exactly how he plans to use his power.

This is how democracies fall and how dictatorships begin.

The President is calling for Democratic members of Congress to be hanged. This is deplorable, un-American, & an open invitation to political violence.

Servicemembers take their oath to the Constitution, not to any president. I stand with my colleagues who have honorably served this nation.
