The President does not have the authority to cancel elections.

And in fact, saying so is another impeachable offense.

Just a reminder that ICE didn't exist until 2002. It's not some longstanding institution that must be maintained. It was created as a knee-jerk reaction to 9/11, and it could be gotten rid of as easily as it was created.

My husband @captmarkkelly.bsky.social is a 25-year Navy combat pilot veteran. He served our country with strength, courage, and integrity.

The President called him a traitor and demanded he be executed. It is dangerous and wrong. Americans need to stand up and say so.
I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

Law enforcement leaders across the nation agree: A national concealed carry mandate is dangerous.

“We should not be forced to accept reciprocity with places where any buffoon who has a pulse gets to carry a gun.”
Law Enforcement Does Not Want a National Concealed Carry Mandate

Keir Starmer is right. The death penalty is never the answer for any country. It’s inhumane, costly & doesn’t deter crime. It has no place in the civilised world. Most of Europe abolished the death penalty decades ago & has been better, safer without it:

Extremists in Congress are pushing for a concealed carry mandate, which would allow people to carry hidden guns nationwide—regardless of state laws.

Now that the government has reopened, they can vote on this dangerous bill any day. They must vote NO.
Why a federal concealed carry gun bill must be stopped - The Boston Globe
The law would force all states to recognize concealed carry permissions from anywhere else in the country, and would be highly dangerous for civilians and law enforcement.

President Trump's unprecedented effort to stop people from seeking asylum in the U.S. is illegal and puts lives in danger.

We were in court this week challenging his proclamation that denies protections for asylum seekers Congress has clearly granted.

Californians overwhelmingly voted YES on Prop 50, protecting voters’ power and rejecting Trump’s gerrymandering push.

This is a sharp contrast to how Gov. Abbott flat-out ignored Texans’ opposition to Trump’s meddling in the state’s maps.
