India's drop in Russian oil purchases appears to be permanent.

2 major state-owned refineries, Indian Oil and Bharat Petroleum, are replacing Russian oil with oil from Middle Eastern, African, and South American countries.

This will have a big impact on Russian war funding.

Similar to whenever there's a plane crash, I see people scared about riding trains. A reminder that the reason why there's so much noise and spectacle about this accident it's because it's exceedingly rare. Traveling by train is safer than doing so by car, by quite a margin.
