Transsexuals who have received bottom surgery will die without hrt.

it’s a matter of how long can they can go without hormones in their body.

Our transness is serious not a costume or a performance.
theres a lot on IG, tara aka @bundleofstyxx.bsky.social on IG talks about it a lot. also @aarynnlang and @queitann on IG also talk about this issue from a black perspective. That's just a few but if you check them out they often repost others you can check out too

A black trans woman can’t ever speak her mind anymore due to the liberalization of the trans community our former fore mothers have to suffer just because all of you wanted to just get along.
Banned on instagram a second time due to mass reporting this time not even from tmes but from other trans girls who couldn’t stand the fact that I said some of you are fucking weird about bottom surgery.

Yall better hope I don’t get that fucking account back.

Dear allies on the Gulf Coast,

If you actually want to help trans people despite living in a red state buy yourself a boat and maintain it. I'm dead serious when I say that if their passports become invalid taking that boat to Mexico will be one of the only ways they can leave the country.

Assigned to a prison job paying $0.13 per hour, Abron Arrington refused to work, figuring his time could be better spent learning physics.

The Colorado DOC punished him with bouts of solitary confinement.
Forced Labor Continues in Colorado, Years After Vote to End Prison Slavery
Coloradans voted in 2018 to amend their state constitution to ban forced labor in prison. Years later, incarcerated people are still being punished for refusing work assignments.

Some numbers for context.

~100 US people a year will die in mass shootings.

> 1000 will be shot by cops.

Mass shootings target everyone. Cop shootings, especially those of unarmed suspects, disproportionately target Black people.

None of this is necessary. We choose to live like this.

When I was a kid, I thought it was weird how Black parents had these talks with us kids about how to behave to not get shot by cops on the way to or from school. Also, how to not get shot by strangers. The talks themselves were traumatic.

These days *everyone* gets "Don't get shot at school" talks🤷🏿‍♂️

Christian Identity never disappeared. Its call for racial conflict has shifted to Telegram channels, YouTube sermons, and accelerationist forums, where its doctrines still shape far-right militancy and echo the conspiracies and segregationist visions that fueled decades of white power violence.
The History and Influence of Christian Identity on America’s Most Violent Antisemitic Movements
Christian Identity (CI), a white supremacist theology rooted in 19th-century British Israelism, redefined itself in the U.S. as a violently racist and antisemitic ideology that became central to group...

I think we have to be prepared for this, especially journalists.
I want to say again that the US government has not yet targeted a US citizen for their political beliefs alone. Citizens have been swept up in immigration actions, but we're not quite at the point where the regime can simply disappear enemies of the state (though they've made it clear they want to).

If an artist charges too low, they'll get criticized for devaluing their own work.

If they charge too much, no one will buy.

Personally, I don't know what I should charge for my stuff. Currently I have a full time job, but I was hoping to take a drawing side gig. But I don't know if I'm ready...

I don't necessarily disagree with this post. But, as a side note, I've seen some artists charge upwards of hundreds for a drawing.

I remember, on the "other" site, there was an anthro artist who charged THOUSANDS for a drawing... and got dunked on for it.

This is a double edged sword.
AI has actively made life worse for literally everyone

- tech is now more expensive
- you cannot trust most media of reality anymore
- programs barely function
- energy prices
- literal psychosis
- your voice can be literally stolen for evil
- more spyware

but hey, you can avoid paying an artist.

Also, not to put too fine a point on it, but we rightly push back on the argument that Christians doing bad things in the name of their belief system aren't real Christians, and that's not a thing that only happens with religious belief.

The replies to this and @jackiantonovich.bsky.social's original post remind us that the most dangerous thing is insisting that something exists in a meaningful way outside of human understanding of it. No matter how "hard" the discipline.
discussed this in seminar yesterday, albeit with reference to “race science” generally. If you understand science as a historical phenomenon then the question is what was science then, not whether it would count as science now, and the implication is that what science is now is not forever, either
1. Historically, eugenics was not a pseudoscience. It was *science* Almost every scientist, social scientist, academic, etc. believed in the validity of eugenics. You would have to search far & wide to find a scientist that didn't believe in some form of it. They taught it in college!

One argument I used to make to my students about why it was important to learn history (and historical thinking) is that someone was always going to be trying to tell you things were natural or had always been this way and that you needed to be able to see that as an exercise of power.
