It’s often the most vulnerable Canadians who don’t file their taxes and miss out on the benefits they need or have paid into.

So we’re introducing Automatic Federal Benefits — pre-filing taxes for up to 5.5 million lower-income Canadians.

The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

Easy to believe this guy ignored someone who passed out in the Oval Office. He did ignore a guest at a Mar-a-Lago event who fell off the stage and split his head open and complained about the blood staining his marble floor. The lack of empathy is on-brand.

According to the administration, POTUS has determined that the U.S. is engaged in 24 secret, unauthorized, almost certainly fictional armed conflicts with “designated terrorist organizations.”

More conflicts than POTUS claims to have ended.
These maritime strikes are of course illegal.

The administration should release the OLC memo, including the list of 24 "designated terrorist organizations" that the admin has given itself permission to attack.

And Congress should continue to push back on this unauthorized military action. 2/n

The Democrats can win the populist message, think Obama. They just have to deliver on the populist platform without being watered down or blocked by lobbying via industry or “centrist”.
Thinking today about that mega-wealthy guy who in 2014 warned fellow mega-wealthy guys that it would not be too long before they faced popular revolt.

Now they’re letting Americans go hungry.

all genocides are wrong.

Exceptions to this weakens the imperative and legacy of the Holocaust, effectively assisting the Nazi’s.
Hey, did you know that you can be furious about the Israeli genocide without speaking approvingly of the Nazi genocide? You can be generally anti-genocide, in fact? Quite a lot of people manage it
