You're right. Let's just dismiss what The Big Dipper is because it was politics that named it rather than scientists who specialize in Astronomy. 🙄
Government drones above my barn:

How long will the radical left liberals cover this up? They keep calling it “the big dipper” but I know it’s just drones.

I think everyone deserves free health care. I don't think it is fair for people to have to work for their health care or to pay out of pocket. I don't think it is okay that some can't get health care because they earn too much, yet, still can't afford it. It needs to change. For everyone.
Guess which ‘one’ hasn’t figured it out yet?! 👇

Just one guess. 🇺🇸

I think a good sequel story to Joker, other than bringing another Harley Quinn in the mix again, could have been a further back story to his first time in the institution before getting his job as a clown.

While I am full of anxiety, PTSD, & overwhelming emotions towards the new year, I will try everything I can to make sure everyone involved in my life, including my husband & kid, are good. Because we are all in a state of overwhelming feelings based on what we hear & read about the future.

Mine are the memories I keep to myself because to me those memories are most sacred.
People are always like, "This is a core memory" while watching a sunset with friends or whatever. But all my core memories are, like, the time I was invited to visit the New York Knicks' locker room after the game and though the sandwich buffet was for me when it fact it was for the New York Knicks.

This is how I always wrote my own songs. I don't anymore because my voice sucks ( I don't know my range or sound) & my writing sucks. These days I can't think of anything unless it is a parody.
I usually write melody first and just plug in random words to get a rhythmic scan going and write the actual lyrics later and one that i still remember is the "here's to the nights we felt alive" melody was originally "all in the same wide comfort stare"

Metalocalypse defines Xmas trees perfectly & I can't stop thinking about it. It's pretty dead on if you really think about it.

We're basically killing a tree by cutting it down, bringing it indoors, decorating it to humiliate it more, & then tossing it out when the New Year comes. 😆

The original Nintendo. While I do not currently own one, it is still special to me. Lots of great games played on it.
Which video game console was your very first and is it still special to you?

Urban legends are based on truth, planes & log trucks are deadly, & monsters are actually humans.
Movies have led me to believe that at some point in life...

My car brakes will be cut

I'll need to army crawl through an air duct

Someone will wrongfully commit me to a mental institution

I'll accidentally step into quicksand

Water will spill on my Mogwai

I watched the 2024 film "Speak No Evil" on Peacock. WTF?! My husband was right, so many misdirections. I am so happy about that ending.

I agree. Hollywood did not think that one through. 🤣
I'd never seen Speed 2: Cruise Control before. I watched it tonight. While I don't want to enflame emotions with my iconoclastic contrarian take, I have to say I didn't think it was all that good.

Unpopular opinion:

I love SpongeBob SquarePants. I loved it as a kid, love it now, I will continue to love it. I don't care how old I am or get, SpongeBob is my favorite cartoon.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice... Fun & cute. I like that Beetlejuice's personality was still the same. Winona Rider, Catherine O'Hara, Jenna Ortega, & Michael Keaton were great. I just love my Gothic girls!!!!!!! Goth girls Forever!!!! Delores was enchanting in a Corpse Bride kind of way.

New Year's Resolution for the first time in forever: Don't get too riled up about politics. From now on, I will only allow myself to become informed, instead of emotional.

I'm watching Krampus & at the end of the movie where it's revealed that many families, including Max's family, are stuck in Snow Globes... WTF is Annabelle doing there???? Seriously, it's freaking her.

Romulus? I was not impressed. Now, I am watching Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. So far so good. I am HATING Lydia's boyfriend, though. Ugh.
