This is so racist it needs a new category of racism to describe it but it's also stupid and pointless. You simply cannot purge the celebration of Black people and their accomplishments from this country in favor of celebrations of a dying pedophile. It's literally not a thing he's capable of doing.
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

I am undoubtedly at risk of having too much of my worldview based on The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but so much of the corporate world's rationale for its heedless destruction sounds to me like "It's a bypass. You've got to build bypasses."

Someone is gonna do a K Pop Demon Hunters song on the next series of The Masked Singer, aren’t they?

The Express is furious about this because the moment you show those who repeat anti-immigration rhetoric the real human stories their narrative collapses.

The “immigrants” are people. Our friends, colleagues and family.

And it’s this nation of neighbours that is what makes Britain great.

Okay, what’s unambiguously NOT a Christmas movie but it’s nice to watch around Christmas?

For me, Singin’ in the Rain and any Peter Ustinov Poirot movie.

All I can think is this what you teach the kids? That when cruel people bully you give in for an easy life? That cruelty and threats are what get your way and its wise to surrender to bigotry?

No-strings-attached, zero-means-testing, no-questions-asked cash payouts have been proven, over and over again, to be the most effective form of charity/aid going.

It gets people in housing, and it saves the state money. We know this. It's fact, not theory.
An Oregon pilot program giving cash to homeless youths sees a staggering reduction in homelessness. The program gave participants $1,000 cash payments each month for two years, and at the end of the project's first phase, 91% of participants reported being in stable housing.

So, fun fact: licensors are notoriously protective of their brands, and will take literal months at times to ensure that every single aspect of a title is being presented properly. You can't even SNEEZE without telling the licensor.

To have Kadokawa come out and say this directly is amazing

Pot calling the kettle black here, Quentin.

Also, apart from the "kids kill kids in an arena" basic element, which is just a mix up of a general death game/gladiatorial combat premise, there is so little the two stories have in common in terms of theme that this argument holds absolutely no weight.
