So this is quite similar to my prior attempt, but this is newer data from a newer system, and I brought the green level down a touch to show more structure definition. IC434 HII region including Barnard 33 (Horsehead Nebula) and Sharpless 277 (Flame Nebula). 🔭

I did a thing and joined substack! Did another thing and actually wrote something over there 😱 it’s a little bleak but I needed to get some of my thoughts out onto “paper”.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

I’ve gone through so many emotions this past week, but at the end of the day, trans and nonbinary folxs have been here long before that imbecile was born and we’ll also be here long after he’s dead.

So here’s 15 books that have trans and nonbinary representation in them 🫶🏻

Please don’t even talk to me in the morning until I’ve had my coffee, 27 hours of alone time, several months by the seaside to ease my agonies, and many decades to wander the earth until the fabled blade of my ancestors can finally be reforged

The ebook of House of Bone and Rain is just $4.99 for a limited time! Every copy pushes me closer to a second contract with Mulholland, so please get you some. It’s dark and violent and weird and strangely beautiful and full of magic. Many thanks!

What starts as a very bleak and depressing novel turns into something wonderful. Castro does an excellent job blending Mexican culture and folklore into the story while also making postpartum a very real thing with very real experiences.

Overall, I give it 4/5.

This story was very engaging and captivating from the very beginning. It does a good job getting you involved in the story and never wanting to leave until you’ve finished it.

I had a great time with this book! It was an excellent thriller for me and easily 5/5.

My @fable 2024 wrap up! I started 2024 with a goal of only reading 20 books. Between going back to school, learning how to deal with my anxiety, the pandemic and finding myself, I unfortunately had little time for reading, so 20 was a huge feat.

Sunday I was finally able to fulfill a want in my heart 15 years in the making. I am extremely biased, but I think this film was perfect and beautiful and was done so reverently with the stage production in mind.

“Are people born wicked? Or do they have wickedness thrust upon them?”

Indeed.

Oooo, this looks promising! Tucker and Dale is still one of my favorite movies. I even did a presentation on it in my English horror film lit class back in college!
