Yep
Elon musk is the richest man in the world, he could be funding hospitals, medical research and universities. He could be solving the climate crisis. He could be feeding, hungry children. Instead, he’s trying to make sure that your grandmother doesn’t get an extra dollar of Social Security.

Stop blaming their Nazi shit on mental conditions. Stop making excuses for them. They're just really shitty people.

Yes, friend!
I can't seem to post quotes... so maybe tonight, just a note to let y'all know we've got this, mostly because we have to.

The world is turning and swirling. Take a minute to be present in the natural world. Breathe.

Prepare. We will be needed.

The ACLU gets *zero* funding from the government.

A bit disconcerting that the fellow tasked with reducing government funding doesn't know that.

I don't know man, I don't think we're in the 'ride it out above the fray' stage anymore.

I think we're in the stage where we need a clear consistent ground game, a strong response to every attack, not giving an inch we don't have to.

You are right that we can't overreact to every little thing.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

Reminder: When RFK Jr. was asked whether there were additional allegations of sexual assault against him, his response was that he "had a very rambunctious life."

Sexual assault in the Trump Administration/inner circle is a feature, not a bug.
My God, I had missed this about Pete Hegseth: he thinks that if someone passes out drunk, it isn’t rape to have sex with them. So… yay, guess I wasn’t raped in 2012.

Just in case there is any ambiguity: If you’re passed out, you cannot consent to sex. Absent affirmative consent, it’s sexual assault

I know this argument didn’t win on November 5, but Republicans’ obsession with the genitals, bathrooms, and sex lives of people they’re not actually interested in is really fucking weird.
Sarah McBride was elected as the first transgender representative and now Republicans trying to ban her from the bathroom.
