Btw, I remember there being some anxieties around folks expressing their opinions during primaries.
Besides being nowhere near a presidential primary at the moment, now is in fact the time for people to express certain lines they expect candidates not to cross.

This feels like elbows-down. Giving up our lunch money to the bully so they’ll stop beating us. The US has proven itself to be an unstable ally and we need to grow more independent and look for new trade deals elsewhere, with countries we can rely on.

This 140 page omnibus bill grants sweeping powers against all Canadians but particularly targets immigrants and asylum seekers, some of the most vulnerable people in Canada. Carney’s first real act is immediately giving “elbows down” capitulation to the monsters below the border.
