2,977 Americans were killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Now imagine 30 9/11 attacks each year.

That's how many Americans the fossil fuel industry kills.

A small, almost invisible breath. Relief.

You chose not to flirt with fascism.”

Wow.

“Conservatives won't allow reporters to travel with Poilievre during the upcoming election.”

There’s no recent precedent for a major party barring reporters from accompanying a campaign.

Add this to refusing to apply for security clearance.

Are we supposed to believe he’s not hiding things?

When Hitler started ranting about the Jews from streetcorners in the 1920s, he was part of a long history of European anti-Semitism.

But where in the world did this massive anti-trans campaign come from? I feel like it was invented out of whole cloth in the last five years.
I need y'all to sit with this headline and understand what is being done to our community. They're trying to criminalize our very existence.

This is a campaign of eradication.

“The data the White House has cited to say Canada is responsible for a massive increase in fentanyl flowing across the northern border include a large drug bust that, according to the U.S. border agency has no known connection to Canada.”

Fentanyl is VERY serious. Let’s be honest about the numbers.
Nearly one-third of seized fentanyl attributed to the U.S.-Canada border had no connection with Canada
Finding undermines assertions by Trump administration that Canada is a rapidly growing source of fentanyl in the U.S.

The #ClimateCrisis isn’t an on/off switch. It’s a dial. An exponential dial. The less we do and the slower we are, the worse it will be. This has never been hard to understand.
A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.

Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.

A request to my American followers. I know most of you don’t support what Trump’s been doing to your neighbour & ally Canada even before he assumes power again. One way you can help is by sharing truth when Trump spreads lies to enflame things. Please share the post below as much as you can. Thanks.
IMPORTANT: If you live in the United States or Canada, you’ve probably heard Trump‘s constant claim that the United States is “subsidizing” Canada. It’s wrong of course, but here’s the best explanation I’ve seen about how & why it’s wrong. PLEASE WATCH & SHARE IT A LOT. Kudos to Andrew Chang & CBC.
