Just so you capitalists know: Sovereign wealth funds like the one Trump announced are state-owned capital and therefore *profoundly* anti-capitalist. But it's pretty compatible with many types of Marxism. The more you know!

I'm sure history will note that it's not just a majority of the Supreme Court Justices but also the Vice President and every single Senator and every single member of the House that has abandoned and violated their oaths to the Constitution. Our Republic was overthrown after all.

Happy New Year, friends! Remember: That which does not kill us wins reelection and tries again.

Be vigilant and keep a good humor about your every day and spread laughter and good will. It’s the best inoculation against autocracy and idiocy.

What Roberts is saying is, "How dare you treat Supreme Court Justices, who have the full weight of federal government behind them, with the same anger and indignity we allow right-wingers to scream in the faces of women seeking basic health care?"

The fact AOC lost the vote for the oversight committee to Gerry Connolly (because of Nancy Pelosi told democrats who to vote for) tells me they haven’t learned a fucking thing since the election.

I was just watching a Teddy Roosevelt documentary on Amazon Prime. It's remarkable how the problems we have today with ultra-rich capitalists like Elon Musk are not at all new. It really is the same struggle we've always had.

In a letter to all 100 U.S. Senators, William Webster, the only person ever to lead both the FBI and CIA, wrote that neither Patel nor Gabbard meets the demands of top intelligence jobs. At 100 and still at the top of his game, Webster deserves to be heeded.

I've had such a really good time today watching MAGA figure out that Elon's not really on their side. But I'm sure they'll all fall back in line as soon as Trump tells them what else to believe. *Sigh.*

The fact that GOP politicians' strategy for power isn't to listen to citizens and adapt but to attack democracy shows their goal is to subjugate, not serve. If the interests they promote right now happen to be yours, I promise you that is a just a *temporary* coincidence. It's obvious.

What I always hear: “We can’t afford to pay our workers $15 an hour.”

What I never hear: “We can’t afford to pay our CEO millions of dollars a year.”

Funny how that works.

One benefit of Elon making Twitter mostly irrelevant to everyone but the Groyper wing of the GOP is that normal people who have no idea he'd become Captain Race Science. So they'll just be confused to learn that he's now in his "The International Jew" period.
elon is no longer content with pinning his problems on the ADL. he's promoting people who are pointing their finger at jews *as jews* now.

do not ignore the significance of this shift

On this Labor Day, remember the unions who pushed for 8 hour work days and weekends off in the first place. Those used to not be a thing!

A friendly reminder this Labor Day that unions didn’t win weekends and the minimum wage and laws against child labor and sick leave by being nice, polite, or respectful. They won by fighting. They won by striking and struggling and being radicals. And we have to do the same.
