Fairly large crowd on the sidewalk in Lyn Lake sharing war stories about the federal agents who got out of their car, then decided the crowd was too big, almost immediately retreated. Agents tossed a gas canister as a parting gift. This happened shortly before I arrived.

It is deeply counter to the whole very basic concept of this nation that its citizens can be taxed and then have funding withheld punitively because the person exercising the power of the presidency decides on a whim to do so.
at some point we're gonna have to have a real conversation about why we're still paying federal taxes to a regime that isn't using them to help anyone, but instead is using them to brutalize us
