If this ceasefire holds, it must mark the beginning of a new path — one where US policy shifts from fueling apartheid and genocide to supporting freedom and safety for all, starting with HR 3565, the Block the Bombs Act.

We must not let this genocide resume or anything like it happen again.

Tens, likely hundreds, of thousands of Palestinians have been massacred by the Israeli military. Entire family lines obliterated, each life an entire universe destroyed. Every life-sustaining system — healthcare, education, housing, and infrastructure — has been systematically annihilated.

On Thursday, September 25, the Massachusetts Special Commission on Combatting Antisemitism convened its twelfth hearing at the State House. This session was dedicated to public comment.

The hearing brought a wide range of voices. Some used the space to air political grievances, but there were also important contributions that spoke directly to the Commission's charge: sharing lived experiences of antisemitism in Massachusetts and offering recommendations for how our schools, campuses, and state can respond.
