Book 24 for the year, likely the last I’ll finish as the holidays are coming quickly. A really cool take on AI (sadly more timely now than when it was written) and exploration on identity and culture. Came recommended to me awhile back and I really should’ve dig into it sooner

Book 23 for the year- a fine overview of lambics and Flanders red/brown ales yet strikes me as falling short somehow in a way I can’t articulate yet. A good section in there at current (at the time) breweries and their products.
Also gave me the impetus to pick up a pack of lindeman’s framboise

They’re not even promising to reverse climate change or cure cancer, teach children etc etc anymore it’s just threat of punishment, destroying any just society, destroying art and labor by owning it by law and ideology. When tasked to talk like a futurist they describe dystopia as progress
