Imagine working at CNN and earnestly believing it has integrity, lmfao, Jesus these people are delused
“.. Once upon a time, a chief executive openly signaling that he’d reorient a newsroom to appease a sitting president would be a five-alarm corporate scandal ..”

Look at my Fourth Estate dawg, I'm going to fascism
It's funny how smug you are for someone who helped Trump get elected with your nihilistic "all politicians are the same" narrative. You and your far-left groups are partly to blame for Trump winning. That is why Putin amplifies you.

Love that they're reporting this like a college football recruitment. As if Allah is making a strong late push with a pumped up NIL deal and Christ is trying to hold em off by promising Freshman playing time and access to a stronger alumni network
are we supposed to be placing bets on this or something

George has got some pretty well developed arms for someone who watched other people work all day
Oh good, Glenn Beck has created an AI George Washington. You will be shocked to learn that the AI George Washington created by Glenn Beck sounds exactly like what would happen if Glenn Beck built an AI George Washington to sound exactly like Glenn Beck.

Whoever chose this image as representative of male baldness should be punched in the nose

Being on the left in this country, I thought I knew what disappointment meant. Then I watched the Lions offensive line this season

Am I really gonna have to stop reading ProPublica? Can every executive in the world just not be fucking evil for like one second? (I know the answer is a definitive "no")
It's simple — @propublica.org workers should not be replaced by artificial intelligence. Our contract proposal specifically says that generative artificial intelligence ("GAI") should not be used to replace employees. Management struck out this entire section in their response to our proposal.

And they know it. To them all of these chsracterss that critique the kind power they're trying to wield is a way to subvert and re-appropriate the message. They think Judge Dredd is a great example of the kind of lawless authoritarianism they earnestly hope to implement.
DOJ's newest recruitment ad features Judge Dredd, the comic satire about the dangers of lawless policing and authoritarian power

It's so cool that the doctors that attend to me while I'm on my deathbed are going to be illiterate

Honestly, I hate the word "freedom". It means nothing, or at least it can mean whatever you want, so people who want to keep us oppressed, deprived and in a state of quasi-serfdom can use it to say that since we have the "choice" to let our kids go hungry or get Grandma her medicine we are more free
Chip Roy: "We need to give freedom options for the average hardworking American family so you can afford a catastrophic plan, go get health sharing, be able to have something that you can be able to go to the doctor of your choice rather than enriching insurance companies."

Jeffries: "The border is secure. That's a good thing. It happened on his watch. He wants to claim credit for it, of course he'll get credit for that. In terms of making sure that we actually deal with the issues that matter, including on immigration, there's a lot that's left to be desired."

I'm extremely pessimistic about These People facing any consequences, but Hegseth might end up being their sacrificial lamb. There will be a massive demand for accountability after this admin, but the GOP wont give in on rebuilding the administrative state so no one will be punished for that

Democrats help confirm yet another Trump admin nominee. Waiting for the roll call to update, but based on the cloture vote from earlier today, between 6 to 8 Dems voted yea to confirm Lindsey Freeman.

The thing about the "culture war" is if they aren't careful they might actually start one, and they can't win it
"Sources in the Trump administration have previously told Zeteo that officials will at times intentionally use popular music from vocally anti-Trump performing artists, in order to trigger a negative response from a famous liberal and provide further amplification of their pervasive culture war,"
NEWS: The Trump-Vance White House is attacking Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new statement, the White House — led by Trump, a liable sexual abuser mired in scandal for ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — suggests Carpenter is "stupid" and is defending pedophiles and rapists.

Throwing admirals and generals under the bus might not actually be the winning strategy they think it is
REPORTER: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened, or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order?

LEAVITT: The latter. Secretary Hegseth authorized Admiral Bradley to conduct these kinetic strikes. He worked well within his authority and the law.

At least something good happened today
Federal immigration enforcement officials called off a planned raid on Canal Street today shortly before it was slated to begin.

New Yorkers who heard about the raid showed up at the garage where the feds had gathered, and as federal agents tried to leave, the NYPD cleared the way for them.
