I rewatched Mulholland Drive last weekend and gosh, it’s incredible and impossible. Somebody said something on here about how Lynch is the ultimate riposte to people who want to “solve” films with neat answers. It’s true. He won’t let you solve his mysteries, and there isn’t a single answer anyway.

Jan 10th 1956 - Hazel Dobkins, for no apparent reason, took knife she received as a wedding gift and murdered her husband and 3 children. She went to prison 9 years and 6 months, and later became friends with Catherine Tramell.
