I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

Yeah. It's for sure USED as a screening tool. It's just not statistically much better than flipping a coin, unless the person already knows they're autistic, or has a very high degree of self awareness.

It's not, though. The RAADS-R test is designed to be administered by an allistic therapist, who explains each question and guides the patient through self examination, and then subjectively interprets the score based on the therapist's mystical allistic vibes.

Like, I have a HUGE list of things I'd much rather futz around with besides ATProto fediverse PDS labelers or whatever the fuck. It's fine if you do, and if you saw my list, you'd be like "why do you care about that?" so maybe you'll understand why I don't get why anyone would care about this.

I honestly kind of don't get the fascination with these things. I switched from Twitter to Bluesky because Bluesky got less boring, and Twitter got more fascist. But it looks like the mod team and CEO are behaving very bad and stupidly. Maybe they don't want the job. I sure don't, that's my point.

I'm not going to switch off the default bluesky PDS to another one. Same reason I don't use Mastodon. If this turns shitty, which it's looking like it might, I'll just bounce, same as with everything else. I don't wanna care about social media federation protocols. I got a website already.
