GRC fungal immunology is such a fantastic community. As a brand new member, I’ve received ton of help including suggestions for career development and my current project. I can’t easily imagine a senior PI coming to a postdoc and offering help proactively. I hope I can contribute in the future.

Inflammation switches the chemoattractant requirements for naive lymphocyte entry into lymph nodes
Lymph node swelling is a well-known symptom of infection. A shift in the chemoattractant code controls lymphocyte recruitment from blood into inflamed lymph nodes, allowing lymphocytes to accumulate so that even rare antigen-specific cells can encounter their activating antigen.

I’d also like to post my PhD work here to let people know more about me. During my PhD, I studied pancreatitis pathogenesis. I identify ferroptosis caused by reduction of hepatic beta hydroxybutyrate as main cause of secondary pancreatitis in patients with liver failure.
