I do think it’s telling that Aftermath will write about Horses in this manner, but not about the various adult games removed from Steam that could also be labeled as quite tame amid fearmongering around their content

I think this is actually media *de*consolidation. Netflix won’t have to maintain deals with terrestrial cable providers and satellite operators, all of which are dying, that have come out of decades’ worth of consolidation. They just get to be HBO, of which Zaz-era WB has been a very poor steward
