This investigation consumed me for two months. I spoke to nearly 20 people about this company and the ways they've been impacted by its practices.

This story has everything: handshake deals, free Mormon labor, zoning laws, 85 hour workweeks, directly contradicting statements

A former executive level employee claims to have held weekly meetings with Rozmiarek but was not allowed access to WoGD's full financials; those were Nielsen's exclusively. Multiple sources have alleged that Nielsen repeatedly said there is a lot of "Voodoo math that goes into making this all work" when referencing the company's financials. "He liked to make it known that the stuff that he does behind the scenes is above our heads," said one former employee. "I thought he was doing some kind of a 'hey, IRS, look over here at all the money that I'm losing. Don't pay attention to the money that I'm making over here. And, who's to say? If he is doing that, he's not doing it very well." When asked directly about the phrase "Voodoo math", Nielsen stated he "did not recall" using it.

According to a former contractor, the intention behind this corporate structure was not as benevolent as Nielsen made it out to be.
Allegedly, Nielsen told them that he had been
"promising 5% of the company to multiple people in handshake deals, while also bragging that he created LLC spin offs of the main company to give those people 5% of, so they would own a piece of a company that made nothing, since all money flows through the main LLC. "

When asked via LinkedIn message, former Modiphius employee Gregoire Boiseblad -who by his own account "helped negotiate a contract between Modiphius and WoGD for the sale of the remaining products on the booth at Gen Con 2023" — immediately replied that Rascal's inquiry did not "sound like journalism questions. It sounds like a pending lawsuit." He went on to say the deal was not done on consignment, that his contributions facilitating the deal were not recognized by Modiphius, and that the "rumors" of how Nielsen treats his employees and clients would not hold up in court.

Kitty passed away last night suddenly. We think she had a stroke and it was too much on her body. We were both with her at least. This is the last photo I took of her, from Sunday. I loved sharing her with everyone on here. Thanks for loving her back.
