Extra points if you developed your own film. Used dial up modem to connect to a BBS before the World Wide Web. Loaded a Reel to Reel tape and listened to it. Watched a film strip in class. Used an overhead projector. Smoked cigarettes between classes. Cruised the main drag on Saturday night.

Who wants to guess why we don't have photocops in Utah? If you guessed because a legislator got a ticket you win "living in fucking Utah." Who wants to know why you only have to signal for 2 seconds instead of 3 now? If you guessed because a legislator got a ticket you win "living in fucking Utah."
We lost almost all traffic cameras in Ohio because one caught a powerful state legislator. Cops care if the person they pull over is powerful. Cameras don’t. I’d be open to allowing people a meaningful opportunity to sue local government over arbitrary or racist placement of cameras.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
