I did some digging... Yes: there is a very real risk that KOSA (if passed) becomes a mechanism for state-enabled censorship and digital surveillance, dressed in the rhetoric of child safety. That risk isn’t hypothetical, analysis by civil-liberties orgs show it’s baked into the bill structure.

In addition to your reps, call E&C as well. Tell them to oppose KOSA and those 18 other internet bills.
You can find who is on the committee for the Kids Online Safety bills today via the link to the Energy and Commerce site I reposted, so if you have a rep, please also call them directly and complain

I feel what is happening to the internet in the uk will eventually envelop every access point, unfortunately. that it’s only a matter of time. Essentially counting down my time of being able to use the internet in any capacity, because I will not comply when it does happen.
