Someone used my name and number requesting an estimate for new kitchen counters. As a result I am getting voicemail messages from contractors. I can't figure out if this could be some sort of scam or how someone could benefit.

Increasing sense that these rumors are valid. The 55th Earth Day will be less a celebration than a call to arms.

I’m thinking about federal income tax.
If the federal government isn’t meeting its obligations why should we?
Specifically, I’d love to see states get the money first and hold it in trust pending litigation. I want to pay my taxes but not to a government that doesn’t respect the constitution.

While Pres Musk denies funding to states, citizens should delay sending in federal taxes. Governors should create an escrow account that citizens could send taxes to. Since Pres Musk has not restart payments, we should cut out the feds as the middle man. Governor Ferguson, what do you say?
