Yeah, "why are you accepting money from the illegal nazi porn guy" seems like a pretty straightforward thing to hit.
If the DNC had a sophisticated and strategic digital comms/advo operation they’d be launching multi channel online and offline blitz targeting every Republican (the party of Epstein) electeds and candidates to give back their money from Musk.

This shouldn’t be difficult Dems.
BREAKING: X’s chatbot Grok isn’t just making AI porn deepfakes, it’s now making Nazi AI porn deepfakes, undressing women and showing them wearing “swastika bikinis”. Many of these women are Jewish, including a recently deceased Holocaust survivor.

Ever have a cup of coffee so good it makes you reexamine your whole brewing process?

The pour over from the Newbury St Coffee Roasters pop-up could be the one, just had a fantastic cup there.

Explaining why "US led rules based intl. order" is better for the US than "US does whatever it wants" via boardgames:

Ever play a boardgame where one player is obviously winning so all the other players gang up on them & they lose? That's what happens with the "do whatever we want" option.

i've said it a hundred times for a dozen reasons but for once there's an expressly political one: the democratic party must push for the us to become a signatory to the rome statute. our justice system has failed, and it will take time to fix it that these people can't be given. give them to the icc
there is no hell hot enough. we will have to do it here

"AI: By nobody for nobody"
by far the funniest use case for AI is “I use it for powerpoints because I hate making them and nobody looks at them” because it kinda sounds like the real workflow savings would be to stop making powerpoints

I really wonder how many things in this country face minimal political opposition because people assume they're already illegal. Like, explain a leveraged buyout to a normal person, how many of them say "there's no way that's real"?

A purported "unitary executive" should work Roman Tribune style. President can direct the gov't to do anything but only by being there in person & giving specific actors direct orders one at a time.

Pres. could still delegate, but the delegates don't inherit the president's imperium.
i'm also thinking about how the vision of the president as articulated by unitary executive theorists — a singular, vigorous individual — is belied by the simple observation that the presidency is an institution of many moving parts, with various people exercising power on behalf of the president

War crimes are also one of the only areas where Dems have a clear answer to "Trump pardons everyone."

When we take back the government from these corrupt war criminals we'll hold them all accountable. If Trump tries to prevent it with pardons we'll ratify the Rome Statute & let the ICC sort it out.
Also, Hegseth is coming for Sen. Mark Kelly because he reminded troops that they have a duty not to commit crimes *like this one*

Making an appropriately big deal out of this blunts that attack and demonstrates the need for what Kelly and company did.

Bsky (or any platform) pretending it's impossible to moderate a distinction between true threats/incitement & harmless hyperbole is terrible policy.

It creates cover for genuine bad actors if they just avoid certain phrases while also burning trust in the platform when suspensions like this happen.
patton oswalt has been suspended from bluesky for saying that megyn kelly should be fed to a woodchipper for justifying the sexual abuse of minors

Maybe Square Enix should take a look at how LLMs are impacting projects with public vulnerability reporting before they jump on that bandwagon.

Beyond the fact that a lot, maybe most, of the country would call that person their aunt. If you polled people asking "genealogically, is your father's cousin your aunt?" I don't think you'd get a clear "No".

Nobody is saying "this is Melissa, she's my first cousin once removed"
In a bit of a tense moment, one of the La Mega co-hosts presses Mamdani on why he "lied" about his "aunt" having been scared to ride the subway after 9/11 while wearing a hijab.

Mamdani says it was "not a lie" because he refers to his father's cousin as his "aunt."

So, ethical legal & control of the armed forces concerns aside, how do you think they divide this up?

Even split where everyone gets paid $75.76 for this half of the month?

Or do you think they'll do it alphabetically until they run out of money? (Hope your last name starts with an a!)

If they can't handle working with a mayor, any mayor! Who is democratically chosen by the citizens of NYC, then they are incapable of serving the city. They are serving their own personal political agenda and should resign now.
“Some NYPD officers are concerned about Mamdani as mayor” they may even resign!
