I do think the reporter could have gone more after Porter's assertion it will be her vs R, but then again the polling kind of points to that.

I was expecting way worse from the way people were characterizing the clip and also like empirically she does not need to win a single Trump voter. Like is anyone out there asking Marsha Blackburn how she's going to win Harris voters?

This might just be me, but with respect to the authors efforts, that's one of my least favorite recent political science books. I think it completely misses the fact that there are plenty of political hobbyists who follow it so closely precisely because they believe politics is about power.

It appears that my employer, Dartmouth, one of the Trump 9, has said no to the compact. All the better given that our president is cited within it. But she’s saying no. Count the small victories when they come.

I genuinely don't get this read on Spanberger's campaign at all. She's likely to enter office with a large trifecta and will get to govern accordingly. Ralph Northam also campaigned on bipartisanship and governed as a solid liberal.
