When this guidance is published (given legal standing), as it almost certainly will be, as a trans man I will not be allowed to use non-unisex public toilets. Which is almost every public toilet.

Just want that to sink in, there.

Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

" The late disability theorist Tobin Siebers called this the ‘masquerade’ of disability: the obligation to perform the disability, sometimes overperform it, so that it would be legible enough to secure the assistance that one genuinely needs. "

I had a dream about my good old iPod last night. I bet it's still loaded with all my music from high school...which probably came from Limewire 🫠
Bring back portable mp3 players.

Seriously, I would rather purchase, download, & keep copies of my music than pay a subscription to stream from Spotify or Apple Music.

There's a reason I've primarily joined MS Teams meetings from an incognito browser window wherever possible for the last 4 years. It's the only method I've found that doesn't include some form of disaster.
Christ every time I'm forced to use Microsoft Teams it re-sets itself to open on startup and I have to hunt the fucker down and turn it off again. Outright sociopathic design.

Sensible, thoughtful, and honest politicians still exist. There is...dare I say it...hope.
No other party says the basic truth: migration is good for Britain.

The real problem? Inequality, soaring bills, underfunded public services.

That’s driven by the greed of the super rich and the Labour government who serve them - not by migrants.

I'm still stunned that @yorkshirebylines.co.uk put in the huge effort to collect all press-reported downsides of Brexit (David Davis had said there would be "none"!)...

...and has the sheer patience to collect 2,000 discrete incidences via media reports before giving up.
The Davis Downside Dossier
David Davis famously said there would be no downsides to Brexit only considerable upsides - so we started recording them.
