It’s very odd that we entrust the clearing of public sidewalks (which are part of our transportation network) to private property owners & businesses.
We get results like this business that cleared only their walkways & left the rest of the sidewalk covered in snow.

50 years ago today, the Dutch Cyclists’ Union was founded in Utrecht. For half a century they’ve been working to make cycling more pleasant and safe, with now 33K members and 1500 active volunteers all over the Netherlands. Creating ‘100% Cycling Happiness’ as the ultimate goal. 🥳 💪 🚲
