Measles likely came from cows (via rinderpest) around the 6th century BCE.

For 2,500 years, we didn’t evolve superhuman resistance—children just died. Real protection only came in the 1960s, with vaccines.

Our superpower isn’t evolving into superhumans. It’s outthinking pathogens.

What a thoroughly nasty man Elon Musk is.

No-one elected him. He’s just a huge troll sat on a pile of gold, chuckling about what kingdom he can smash up next.

As an experiment, I just set up a false email address as Keir Starmer and entered the postcode for 10 downing st, just to see if it's possible to game this. I checked the number before and after. It worked. My, or rather Keir Starmers signature was counted. This is a bot farm scam.

I was an economist at the BoE at the same time as she worked there. She was an economist. I walked past her desk a few times a day. I read notes she wrote. Attended the same meetings. The last time I wrote this on Twitter someone replied 'you supported masks and lockdown'.

This is not a farmers tax.

This is not a tractor tax.

This is a tax on estates worth over £2,000,000 paying 20% on that asset (only over 2mil).

There is a reason
Jeremy Clarkson called his farm diddly squatt. It's the tax he intends to pay.

Elon Musk just called the COVID-19 pandemic that killed at least 1.4 million Americans a “scamdemic.”

My dad died during the pandemic; we weren't able to visit him in the hospital because of it. Every aspect of that horrible tragedy was real. And exacerbated by Musk’s co-POTUS.

I’m seeing red. 😡

Trump is such a unique character. Does the fact he can’t run again mean that Republicans will start to rebel? Will his second term end up more like the chaos of the Tories under Johnson, Truss and Sunak?
