The funny thing about AI art is that it's given me a whole new appreciation for the amateur art that I draw! I used to not really like what I drew, but damn if my shitty stick figures are not ten times better than AI art because I spent time to make them!

god this is so real. its like... you aren't part of the conversation *you* created, and it feels so isolating to be passionate about something no one else really cares about -- even if people do kinda care in private. but... it's private. so it's still isolating.
I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.

-man, I'm still much in love with the Ace Attorney games and Ghost Trick for their character animations. It's all so very charming.
