One personally frustrating thing about the big AI push is that it forces people to assess it in a hurry, which makes people careless. It kinda smells like a scam to me if someone’s hurrying you along, cultivating urgency in you, well before you know where they’re taking you.

I have something controversial to say.
I do think there's a "wrong way to enjoy art".
And that is to not think about it. To consume it without asking yourself any questions about it or consciously relating it to other experiences.
It's *very* easy to do this given social media content pipelines.

Maybe it's because I'm a not a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant, but I don't understand this situation at all. Either I'm just not going to go or I'm going to gleefully call someone a bigot in between bites of delicious stuffing.
If you have to deal with conservative family this Thanksgiving, the only two things you should be saying to them is. "You have internet addiction, that's internet addiction garbage." and "Be a fucking man/adult and live and let live." That's it, nothing more. They'll leave humiliated.
