Montana has sorted this out, and if it works, any other state can do the same to _un-do_ the damage of Citizens United
In short, states may grant legal benefits and licenses to business entities, and in exchange they prevent business entities from acting as people.

Fervently believe Ds should embrace a "Medicaid for All" approach that allows anyone to buy into their state Medicaid. Everyone gets universal basic coverage. Use ACA exchanges for supplemental coverage. Employers can offer coverage of the exchanges.

i'd be willing to have kids someday in the future, if my life pans out decently enough to be able to be a materially stable parent and the world returns to non-suckage enough that bringing someone else into it doesn't feel evil
