Mercury Abbey was an absolutely delightful and fun point and click experience, and I already miss all the characters after finishing it up tonight. Hoping there’s a sequel!

On Saints Row we had a debug npc named Skinballs (lol) that was literally just four spheres wrapped in different shades of skin texture so we could test lighting for different skin tones during development. But teams need to plan for that kind of testing with intentionality, and not enough do.

I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.

I wish I was allowed to be 1/100 as bad at my job as these people are that are in charge of massive teams and ppl’s livelihoods. Omg.
This advice is nothing new to a lot of folks, but may help some artists. If you're struggling to get into the flow for your project, start with the smallest tasks. Tiny fixes you need to do, setting up a scene, etc. For me, the flow starts after 20-40 minutes of working; so filling that time with
