Really, really worth yr while to do it w Peake I've gotta say!
in 2026 instead of lore-diving whatever giant franchise benefits from your engagement try doing it with any writer/director with a substantial body of work but no “fandom”. Marie Ndiaye. Maryse Conde. Samuel Fuller. See where it gets you. If you gotta have a static setting do Mervyn Peake

I have been many places and seen many things and there are few to equal the cathedral of Ely floating above the fens, bristling with turrets and pinnacles and haunted by the wings of a thousand angels on the ramparts of eternity.

So... four saints on the points of a process. cross — Bonaventure, Francis of Assisi, Anthony of Padua and one saint wearing a cope & mitre w the initials 'S L EP': who is it?

I'm assuming that if three are Franciscans, then the fourth prob is too, but Louis of Toulouse seems a rogue choice?

Know, o Christian, your dignity. And having been made a sharer in the divine nature, do not fall back into the vileness of your old, degenerate condition. … By the sacrament of baptism you have been made a temple of the Holy Spirit. ~ Pope St. Leo the Great (Office of Readings) #Christmas

*gestures broadly in the direction of Auden's erotica*
E. M. Forster left a diary to King’s College, Cambridge that is basically all his notes about sex with the rule that anyone could come read it for research in person, but it couldn’t be published. You have to make an appointment and be there.
When we say "no, everything hasn't been digitized," I need you to understand that we really mean is that virtually nothing has been digitized. This is because the realm of primary sources that historians use is incomprehensibly large.

There seems an obvious answer to me, but maybe I am built diff
If you were suddenly given the gift of having memorized one of the Pauline epistles, which would it be and why?

Corpus Turki Carol, to be imagined as if sung by Jeff Buckley

'...And in that garden there was a pot
That was filled with brine I wot,
And in that brine there was a bird,
And it was frozen hard as [word that rhymes with bird and means rock].'

Considering it's the greatest song of the last century, it's kind of surprising how few singers have covered Let It Be!
